American Legion Post #478
Lamond-Frank
Southgate, Michigan
"For God and Country"
Dear fellow Legionnaire
Welcome to another great year with the American Legion. Post #478 Southgate thanks you for the continued support your membership provides. The Southgate American Legion was established over 50 years ago in the Southgate community to help its Veterans get the support and assistance they may require in time of need. The American Legion is dedicated to 4 Pillars of Service, promoting a strong National Defense, taking Care of Veterans, Mentoring Youth and promoting Patriotism and Honor. Supporting all of these Pillars requires help from the Legionnaire membership. Your Post needs help with the following programs.
· Volunteers to assist fellow Veterans with transportation to medical care or assistance applying for aid.
· Help finding candidates for our Youth Programs such as the Michigan Student Trooper Program, the Michigan Boys State Program, the American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year Awards.
Post meetings are held the last Monday of every month at 8 P.M. Come join us. Veterans are always welcome.
